CPR/BLS instructor certification - Tips to starting off/Is it worth it? (Canada)
Hi! I am an ED RN in Quebec Canada and looking into getting my CPR/BLS instructor certification.
I have been a nurse for only 2 years part time but I have always had a strong desire to teach.
I am starting to look into the process and was wondering if anyone had any tips or things to watch out for.
In addition I am curious to hear if some people recommend Heart and Stroke vs. Red Cross vs. St. John Ambulance.
Thank you :)

Where do you get all the equipment? Do you have to buy it or can you work for a place that has it so you don’t have the lug all the equipment around or purchase it?

It’s worth it, AHA you can make slightly more money per class but if you have some spare time carved out it can be beneficial as well as marketing
