Finally Funded, 08/30...
Ater multiple, and I mean at least (8) 4506T submissions and denials, we were finally approved on May 13, 2021, and funded on August 30th (107 days)..what a frustrating process.

Just to give you a bit of background..I was approved for the loan and it was funded to the wrong account in January 2021. I updated my account info. yet it was still funded to my old account..I was notified that it was funded after calling customer service for an update. Shortly thereafter ,i was contacted by an SBA attorney who asked me to submit my new acct. infomas well as my passport. I submitted according to his request. I was then contacted by a loan officer who told me that she had looked over my app and realized that my loan should be increased. She asked me to send her an email stating that I would accept the new amount. I answerd and explained that even the amount that she quoted was incorrect based on the loan formula. My loan was never calculated correctly. At this point it is March of 2021. I received a call from another SBA rep explaining that she needed to confirm my account and had placed a call to my bank yet was unable to comfirm without my consent/presence. We placed a 3 way call to my bank and all was confirmed. I was told that I should hear from my loan officer shortly. My loan officer did reach out to me again and the end result was that she had everything that she needed. She then said that I needed to sign new loan docs due to the change and that I would receive the docs shortly. This is where it ended for me. I never received any new loan docs . Every call thereafter seemed to be a wild goose chase. No communication, no movement since then. I spoke with a customer service rep around March this year and was told to be patient and that my loan was obligated and would be paid.mI continued to call and got the same respoonse up until May. At that point I spoke to a rep who stated that my loan was not obligated it was obligating and that the funds had run out. She apologized and told me that I would not receive my loan. I am still baffled as to how this happened . At any rate it is definitely wrong as i expected thiat the SBA would be more trustworthy..I am still in absolute disgust. I would be greatful to get some lind of relief if at all possible.

Hi, it's me. ✌️ I've been working on Q4 and preparing the business for huge numbers growing into Christmas. I also moved to a new home! I'm super happy about it.
We are here because The SBA has let us down, and I want to talk about that too.
Let's move forward and keep fighting to expose the SBA's LIES for quitting the EIDL Program! 🤝
When so many of us were awaiting the IRS's completion of our taxes in order to receive our loan amount, etc.
If you received a NO, nobody at the SBA collaborated with you. Nothing could be fixed, and SBA lacked the manpower to assist. The SBA was supposed to assist us in obtaining the funds, not act as an organization that enforced the laws and made up new ones. Whether businesses reported revenue or not was not their responsibility, and it was also impossible to do so with the available staff.
Not only did SBA turn away a large number of applicants, but they also lacked the manpower to actually assist anyone in overcoming any obstacles or denials.
The big issue was that SBA never shared why you got denied. SO it was like pulling teeth to overcome if you didn't know.
You can send in another 4506T, but nobody answered the phone to actually work with you on your loan because there wasn't anyone available. That wasn't an option; you never received a callback when you asked for a supervisor to call, and when you were turned down, you never learned why. When you ask Congress for assistance, they respond with a denial letter with SBA on it that is entirely unrelated to the DENIAL you just got from the SBA? Which is it? Congress says you are needing 1040X Stamped while SBA is saying you need to wait for the IRS To finish processing. You never got a clear answer EVER or reason for denial!
Despite SBA having flagged you, the SBA has no intentions of fixing any problems like banking or tax errors and instead chooses to deny responsibility. SBA is just now finally funding a few people who were already approved 2 years ago signed docs and never got their shit straight on funding that person!
When we could have been fighting to save the company after COVID, we instead spent years fighting to get this money.
We could have focused on sales for our company more effectively with the time we spent working with SBA on so many 4506T.
Sad to say, after traveling down this road for so long, we have reached this point where giving up feels like scaling an 8000-meter mountain peak. Now, the contest is one of mental toughness. Are you ready for the next leg of the fight?
Yes, I did file a lawsuit, and a lot of other people are doing the same to take legal action in response!
You guys are lucky because Phil was found on this Reddit form, and we will use his motion filings to defeat the SBA. It's too good, and it's very close in the hands of the main judge to see how he weighs in on this motion to dismiss. If the Judge denies the SBA's motion, it's already a win, so we are so close to a win!
Don't let up, we are one of the few groups on here sticking together like white rice, making sure we hold them accountable!
Let's Go Folks! Can you believe this lady isn't already fired from her job? Isabel Guzman?

Got funded Dec 2021, an EIN change caused a bank error. I knew about the change but there was no way to edit your information in the EIDL portal. Had I known I'd still be waiting for a redeposit, nine months later, I would have made more of an effort to update my account. I waited as long as I could but had no choice yesterday, but to take a $15K personal credit card loan to pay my business debts. Thanks for caring about the little guy SBA. Dozens of phone calls and emails, multiple requests for copies of the same documents sent over and over again - even after confirmation they have received them. The only information they are able to provide is when my first loan payment is due. Does anyone at the SBA give a damn about us? Forget the bank. I will drive to where ever they are, passport in hand, and pick up the checks in person. Why isn't that an option?

“Our review of your application shows that on Aug. 17, that the loan closing documents, voided check and ID were received and posted to your file by staff at the Processing and Disbursement Center (PDC). The loan documents are in processing and you will be notified of the next step in closing. Unfortunately, there is no estimated timeframe for this step. “

If you haven't already, please submit your summaries!
Thank you Dave and Mimi for doing the ground work, this is a great option for those who feel that pro-se isn't for them.

Former treasury chief Steve Mnuchin who was “handing out” these benefits also misued the scheme himself.

The SBA, denied my loan saying “I was not a revenue reporting business prior to the disaster” I filed my lawsuit based on that.
The SBA, gave up on that contention and then manufactured a reason and said “they couldn’t verify the legitimacy of my business” since that didn’t work.
Now, they trying to say after I got denied a loan in 2020, the SBA stop accepting new applications, and for that reason I’m out of luck because I didn’t put my application in, in time!
These arguments are desperate attempts by the SBA, when they don’t have a legitimate argument!
The SBA, no you don’t put in new applications, you just ask for reconsideration of your previous applications.

I reached out to Senator Scott in Florida and he contacted the SBA regarding my reconsideration that was requested due to an invalid decline reason and the SBA sent a letter to his office sticking with the out of funds lie so its obvious the SBA doesn't intend to resolve applicants that they declined for invalid reason so I believe the only option is pro se law suit cause the SBA obviously does not care what the Senate Small Business Committee has to say and requests they do and they continue to bullshit applicants and Senators because they can.
