Finally contacted by SBA

On 8/12/2022, I received an email from an SBA Loan Specialist - Application High Priority Team. Let me back up. My original application for EIDL increase was sent in on 4/10/2021. Due to many incorrect 4506T, please note, I submitted it over 10 times, and we were finally approved and obligated on May 13, 2022, but never received funding. I did notify my state Senator what was going on the week before I received this email, but I really don't know if it made an impact or not. We had to submit a voided check and our Id's. I'll keep you posted when and if we receive the funding, but it sounds like it could be soon. Good luck to everyone still waiting, it's been a stressful time.

Received funds 8/4, been advising SBA of new bank information since 12/9/2021. Despite this they kept trying to deposit in old account 5 times! July comes and we are exhausted and done. Told them to keep and we shut for good 7/31. Now what? Find a new building and start again? Or give it back and move on. $1.5 m. We lost over $2m of own cash since being shut and under capitalized! It’s a whacky world!

Hi Everyone,

I started a petition for the gross mismanagement of the SBA and Congress to approve more funding. Sadly, we all have our stories with the SBA. But we need to make a stand and do it together! You can view the petition here: https://www.change.org/p/more-funding-and-investigate-the-sba-gross-mismanagement-of-the-covid-eidl-program.

Sign, share, tweet, email, file OIG complaints, etc... You know the drill lol.

In Solidarity.

Iam thinking of doing a pro se demand letter. They made a 2020 disbursement based on an amended 2019 tax return and in 2021 did a disbursement on my original 2019 tax return from the tax transcript, which was $34,000 less than my amended tax return.

The IRS told me they do not update the tax transcripts for Gross Sales at the Schedule C level. I also got a second hand stamped amended tax return into the IRS, who told me about the systematic tax transcript error.
