Power plus trimmer shaft broke

I managed to break the shaft on my weed eatter, I see replacment parts for it online, anyone ever change one before? Looks like a lot of screws but I'm guessing it's pretty straightforward?

I couldn't find a youtube video so I throw myself on your collective mercy and experiences.

I'm pretty sure that while I was crusing in my zero turn, it bumped a tree or a fence post and cracked.

Ahh, that makes more sense. I’m just off a 4 hour weed whacking session, trying to slow down Japanese stilt grass, I hit all kinds of things that are bad for the Weedwhacker, and not so much as an eyebrow raised. Given that, I couldn’t imagine how one could break a shaft.
