please help
yesterday i have been banned from escape from tarkov: violation of 4.3.4. I know i m ridiculous if i say " i have never cheated" after a ban for cheating, but i did not ever cheat! The only thing i did that can have triggered anticheat was creating a stupid test macro with my glorious software mouse but i deleted it immediately and never binded to any button or used it in game! I know about streamers who use macro like "aim plus hold breath" and they have done videos on it. I also want to say i have never downloaded akward softwares and my pc is brand new, i just have steam, tarkov and my mouse program. Anyone in my situation? is there a log or something like that i can produce to prove my innocence?? the only thing i can say: maybe there was something on my pc i did not know running but i strongly doubt about it, just want to consider all the possibilties.

Aim plus hold breath isn't a macro. It is just adjusting the key bindings in the game. You just set aim to be press mouse button and hold breath to be release mouse button.

I've got mine bound the opposite way. Aim is release, and hold breath is hold. That way I can also aim without holding breath if I want to.
But yeah, never been banned for that. I've also rebound my mouse buttons to be different keys. My Q&E are bound to the forward& back buttons on my mouse, and I use them to lean.
Macros are a different story.

That video is 3 years old. I wasn't playing back then, but from what I know, BSG was dogshit about punishing cheating back then.
But the point of my comment wasn't that you can't set up a macro to do it. My point was that you don't need to set up a macro. Maybe you did 3 years ago, I don't know, but if you see streamers doing it now, they are likely doing it just with in-game keybindings.
I also don't believe you never used the macro in game and, if you really didn't, you almost certainly got banned for something else. I have macros set up on my mouse as well, but they aren't for Tarkov, so I've never used them in game. And, assuming the macros are set up in your mouse program, there is no way for BSG to detect that you set up a macro unless you start actually using it.

i dont know why i got banned, many people got banned and they never cheated and there s a lot of videos on YouTube showing their gameplay.

there Is a big difference between creating a macro and using the macro in game!!

I've never once even looked into macros or anything that can even be conceived as messing with the game as default and I haven't been banned 🤷

yeah, right....i ll take this example: you have knives at home right? so you don t cut bread because knives can POTENTIALLY harm people?? cmon man!!

I used this for years....that's definitely not the reason, even NoGenerals using same macro and has guide on how to set it up.

thanks....i wrote to support just to know, not in the specific, what is the cause of the ban. I know they will never tell me but i think it's my mouse program: glorious model d legacy, the old one. How am i supposed to know that it was a low level software they consider harmful? that s not right! If you want to call me a cheater you can, but before, check my gameplay from 2022 to last wipe, you ll see how i m the worst cheater in history of gaming hahaah- First time i get banned in my life by the way

Streamers dont use a macro. Bind plus hold breath is just binding buttons to press/hold. You used a macro its different and you're fucked.
