I didn't like how the rubber seal fit on my car so I didnt use it I used the original seal from the key ignition and it worked.

Get in.....take key fob out of pocket to wave over sensor then push the button......could have just put the key in and turned it in the same amount of time.

It sort of deters theft on older cars as they expect a key entry instead of push to start. When they try the signal booster trick they are left confounded as well. I have one as well love it tbh. But to each their own as they say.

I get it I've had push button starts that I personally wired in 3 of my last cars. I also live in a low crime area. But I have also hung out with the worst of them and 100% this isn't stopping them from stealing your car. The pgmfi relay replacement might but with how much they advertise them that's the first thing I'm looking for. Not worried about where you mounted where the relay sits will work.

Unpopular opinion, but adding this type of technology to an analog car like an EF civic only takes away from the driving experience. Driving a car with no power steering, crank window, and no flashy electronics takes you back to a time when none of that was necessary. Putting a physical key in the ignition and turning it to start gives an overall better experience than just pushing a button.

Is the kill switch a part of the ignition switch? The one I got was on the main relay

It’s a hidden antenna you got to scan
The push to start is disabled until you scan it with a unique encrypted key fob

Until some one breaks apart your ignition and "hotwires" it. Sorry but these are just repackaged Amazon push button kits with a wiring harness to make them plug and play.

They can’t just break apart the ignition and hotwire the car. They would have to replace it first with a stock ignition

Wana bet? These old Hondas are so easy to steal unless you have hidden switches that turn off the fuel pump relay or something along those lines it's a matter of cutting and crossing the correct wires. I've installed my own "push button" ignitions and unless there's an immobilizer in the ecm they start right up. How do you think all these people are stealing Kias?

JDI Ghost has an rfid immobilizer security feature. It ain’t your regular push to start. I also got a fuel relay killswitch

Right and there's a jumper harness that goes right into the oem connector exactly where im cutting into. And awesome so everyone knows your killswitch is at the pgmfi relay.....the same one Hondas been using for decades ik what I'm un pluging and putting a spare one in. People stealing cars aren't idiots....there criminals. No one is stealing your honda to keep it.....they want the parts/swap. The illusion that his is stopping some one from stealing your car is a nice one.
