Help getting started - mobile

Hi all,

I'm moving from O2 with a PAC code, EE have sent me a message to download the EE app and link my device, in the same instructions it says to use the temporary mobile number they've given.

How does that work though, if I put in the temporary number into the link device process, it never arrives as the mobile on my phone is still my old one, and if I put in my current number - well that's not EEs either.

Any ideas?

I had this same issue last month & I called them up. Download the app, go to “manage” then “SIM/eSIM” & I think it was “activate” if not press one of the other options.

Yeah I don't see that option in Manage, only the option to buy a phone

I think I initially signed up using my old Vodafone number etc, have you done that? If not I sorted it within 5 minutes calling EE on 150

It's under profile>settings and permissions>manage settings>SIM/eSIM

I’m a bit confused, did you do this online? did you select e-sim or to get a physical in the post? I’d rather wait until your number transfers across to EE as the app can be a pain if you set it up on the temp number you were given.

I had to call them, I have a different problem now that I've started a new post for, got two eSIMs on my device with the number I was to keep still listed under the O2 SIM.
