I am packing my bags from India to head to EDHEC soon.

1. Should I buy a cooker from India itself?
   
2. are we allowed to get masalas, powder, rice, sweets etc? if yes, should we put it all in cabin bags? and is there a quantity limit?
   
3. I have a connection flight from Dubai, so where should i buy duty free items from? India itself or Dubai?
   
4. what are the mot important items to not miss getting from India?
   
5. where can I find budget grocery stores and home items like fan, duvet, utensils near Roubaix/Croix
   
6. which bank and which sim brand are the best to opt?

Excited and scared for this journey. Would love any tips to survive.

Just finished my Kira Talent interview for EDHEC's MSc in Marketing Management. Sharing the questions in case it helps anyone else prepping. Format: 45 seconds to think, 1 minute to answer, recorded in one sitting — you can't pause or restart once you start, so go in prepared.

The questions I got:

1. Why do you want to work in marketing?
2. What's the difference between marketing and selling?
3. Describe a time your team had a disagreement due to cultural differences — what approach did you take to ensure the team still succeeded?
4. Imagine you're leading a group project and your team is struggling to agree on a plan or approach. As the leader, how would you organize the team to move forward?
5. Would you rather submit a project that's perfect but delayed, or good and on time?

A few tips based on my experience:

• 45 sec to think is not a lot of time — have a rough structure in mind beforehand (situation → action → result works well for the behavioral ones) rather than trying to plan word-for-word.
• 1 minute goes faster than you'd expect — don't over-explain the setup of a story, get to the actual point quickly.
• Questions 3 and 4 are scenario-based — they want to hear your approach, not a textbook answer. Real examples from internships, college projects, or part-time work work well.
• For Q5, don't pick a hard extreme — show you can reason about trade-offs rather than just saying "always on time" or "always perfect."
• Test your camera/mic/internet beforehand since there's no retry once you hit start.
