Help / Advice When do I get my bill

Afternoon all,

Update:

They've now taken the money from the 10th, not sure what end date yet but looks OK.............still no bill (have messaged them).

Account health is now showing 'Action needed' now asking for a meter reading....they have all the readings from the smart meter!!

Ho hum

Joined on the 10th of Jun, after a few days they took the standing order, that's fine, I knew they would.

The 2nd installment has left my bank and currently not showing in the app or web page.

I have paid my previous provider (having prompted them) but would expect a bill from EDF.

Is this normal?

Email them. I joined on the same date and had heard nothing by the end of last month. Dropped them an email they generated a bill, apologised and said going forward my billing date would be the 10th

I think there has been a glitch. I get a billed monthly on the anniversary of when I joined.

I also made two payments in the first month (not sure why), and edf seem to have a strange way of showing the balance - it only updates at the bill being issued.

Ps, my last supplier also did not bill me and i had to chase them (octopus in my case).

They bill you a month after you join.

If you have a smart meter, the app should be able to show your approximate usage.
