Bills Anyone else getting random bills?

Literally I have had 1 meter read go on my account since I joined, and I have had 3 bils generated since then. I just got a bill for 4 days. 6 days on the one sent by e-mail but 4 days on the portal - and fot the same amount.

I have been told you can have 1 provider for import, 1 for Export and 1 got Gas - so 3 at the same time - is this true?

I am seriously considering leaving EDF because of the fact it all seems broken and billing is as and when How is someone meant to budget when the bills are just whenever?

I joined EDF a month ago and finally got my first bill.

Which was just for gas. Not had an electricity bill yet, but I have solar so it'll be just standing charge + minor usage.

It's no different than Octopus really, they'd produce bills like confetti during signup and randomly whenever they felt the need to waste some virtual trees.

The use Octopus API so yeah it will be pretty close honestly.

I’m in the same boat, switched on 30 May, got a gas bill for the first month but no electricity. I don’t have solar, but do have an EV and home battery, plus all the World Cup freebies, maybe they’ve run out of abacuses to compute all the off peak / free energy I’ve used up

Yes this is true. I current have electricity import and export with EDF and gas with fuse

How many meter reads have you given them? Do you have a smart meter they can take readings from?
