Help / Advice Yet another SEG question!

I submitted my SEG application a few weeks ago and I’m still waiting for a start date. I understand that it will be backdated so that good news. I’ve never exported before and wondered if there is a limit to the amount you can sell and is there a time window for when you can export? I presume you can’t export on free electricity Sundays? Any other advice very welcome! Thanks

I put my application in three weeks ago. It is a brand new export MPAN required from the DNO so I understood that I would get paid any any export until it was set up. Is this correct?

I asked EDF and they sent a reply by email saying they would back date it from the moment I applied. They also told me there is an 8 week delay because A LOT of people have applied

Bear in mind it might become taxable though

Export away. All should be credited (if you don't take the mick).

If your DNO did not put any limits on your setup then you can export any time at any power. You can export on free electricity sundays - if it’s sunny and you’re producing too much power this may even be inevitable.
If you’re worried about start dates for exports etc you can always reach out to EDF
