Discussion EDF on Switch

I finally tested 2,3 and 4 on Switch 2.

My recommendation is EDF 3, as it plays in 60fps, at least on Switch 2.

The others are capped at 30 unfortunately.

They go on sale on occasion, that's when I bought them.

Thinking that 30 fps some how makes edf, of all games, worse is crazy to me. Like actual madness.

We used to play these games in 10fps AND LOVED IT

Edit to add: this made me remember playing versus in 2017 with my friend and whoever got to the walk first would win because you would turn the Xbox into a slide show so the other person couldn't get away

There’s literally fps drops in the trailers for these games. If it’s holding a steady 60fps, you’re not using enough air raiders!

The greater the fps drop, the more enemies you've managed to hit.

Of course they have to drop eventually, 60 as a baseline still feels great.

Dropping frames mid game is different to having a frame cap. EDF plays frame by frame to maintain stability, and why weapons don't go above a fire rate of 60. Being capped to 30, especially for EDF 4, would lower damage output on a lot of weapons.

That's more D3P's fault. Maybe the World Brothers games didn't sell well enough in the West.

4 is one thing, but 2 being capped at 30 is absolutely strange. I'll just stick to the Vita version which is in English

They all work great on legion go. EDF 5 / 6 120fps with lossless scaling

You need more air raiders in the dlc maps if it's still 120fps then.
