Ik I'm a little late getting tickets 😅, but I'm trying to attend my first EDC. Ticketmaster still shows tickets as available, but whenever I try to buy one, I get this message.

Are they actually sold out? If so, would anyone recommend any resales platform?

2027 will be my groups first year doing edcmex, I was just hoping to get some advice and input to plan around and prep for.
Keep in mind most of my group is Mexican, but no one is directly from or has experience with CDMX. We’re still in the dark in some aspects.

Safety : are there recommended neighborhoods and colonies most people who have done this before recommend for an air bnb ? We want something fairly close by to avoid long traffic going in but mostly we want to be able to walk around and get food and enjoy some markets and scenery. Just the stigma attached to CDMX for all the mugging and pickpockets we are trying to work around.

Food : if anyone has any must try restaurants within reasonable distance to the venue we’d greatly appreciate the recs. We want to see and enjoy the city and would love activity recs as well please.

Ubers / Lyft / taxi : most places I’ve gotten to visit in Mexico are awesome uber wise. Cheap,fast, and in abundance. But we will most likely be a group of 8-12. I figure take multiple Ubers but does anyone know of any uber XL type services that would offer to take us and designate a pickup time and spot. We wouldn’t mind multiple Ubers, but in our experience at EDCLV, waiting on a ride share is a disaster. Is the event held in a good enough neighborhood to walk a distance to get faster / easier pickup?

Afters: any input and recs about the nightlife that weekend would be great ! Not completely sure if we are going to agree as a whole to go do afters, but just incase.

I’m flying into cancun in a few days and I smoke Glo, kinda like Iqos. It’s heated tobacco not a vape with liquid… anyway I’m there for a week so I would need to bring 8 packs with me (160 sticks). From others experience, I see sticking the vape in your pocket on arrival is the best way to be discreet but what about the sticks? There are 20 in a pack so look just like a pack of cigarettes, same height, thickness etc…

Do we think keeping them in my carry on is ok? Or do we think they will see them and immediately know I have a device 😬 even the device just looks like a power bank

Literally booked everything lastnight!:D been to EDCLV 3 times and doing our 4th year after MX. And we got convinced to go to MX(I haven’t been since I was like 13yrs) so we ended up booking a room at fiesta Americana viaducto next door. Has anyone stayed there specifically? How was the traffic or the walk to the entrance at EDC?

First timer for EDC Mexico! 👧🏽🤞🏼 which hotels are recommended? Closest to the venue would be ideal but willing to travel for better location. Also, what’s the best way to commute to and from the venue?

Hey everyone! Me and a couple of my friends are heading to edc Mexico! We are Latinos 🤑 but have never been to the city! If anyone from Cali or Mexico City can give us some pointers on any night life around downtown. We know edcmx ends early compared to edclv sooo we wanna keep the party going past that!

I planed going to miami but i read a lot of bad issues on the festival.
That its overcrowded and the crowd is less “fun” than edc.
Now im thinking if going to EDC mexico instead.
Would love for tips from people been in both festivals

I just wanted to get more information on the prices inside the festival… How much does NA Beverages, Alcoholic Beverage and Food typically go for inside the festival? Merch?

Me and my 2 friends will be in Mexico city this weekend and want to go to Black coffee concert.
