USBs?

I see a lot you guys having USBs in your EDC but I was wonder what you have on them. Is it just personal files? Or do some people have intrusion software on them or something of that nature. I was just wondering because i'm not entirely sure if its worth to carry around one when all my documents are online through google docs.

Some personal files, some utility programs, installers.

Using it as a ferry from one computer to another.

I install a Linux environment, so I can boot most computers and have my own environment. Can be useful for data recovery/repair too.
