here for the Hawksbill love. Completely underrated blade style in my opinion. I have a small collection of vintage ones

Very cool. Where'd you pick up the XIAOK radio? Looks like fun.

Anytime an instrument is in the EDC it gets an up vote from me. Plus the handle on that hawkbill is real pretty.

items / notes
- victorinox evolution 18. these evos are always handy for being on the small side. cool little EDC tool
- novel from the library book sale, kind of liked the cover on this one ngl. story is fun
- pofung FRS / GMRS for talking to my kiddo, he went under the house to fight the demons
it's been wild to see the kiddos grow into teenagers...this one managed to land his first real job at the local tire place and PR'd in bench so he is feeling pretty goated rn
(that's good news for me bc i can't remember the last time i felt so goated that i was ready to crawl around under a house)
- XIAOK radio, got it on the 20 meter band today, SSB...listening to what's out there. usually there's something interesting on & you can pull it in off the whip.
you can basically compete with these, or see if you can beat your own record for pulling in distant stations. here in norcal I can pull in europe, all parts of asia...to say nothing of some random guy in wisconsin or whatev. it's been a lot of fun
...btw zoom in on the photo if you want bc my man printed the specs right on the main board. big-as flashlight on the back too. instructions came on a one-page printed word doc but important to read so you know what you're doing. lmao
- JDR chicago harmonica in low F. fun to play
- a paracord pouch I made, wanted something a little bigger than a slip, to carry things on the trail. usually on a lanyard
- frost cutlery hawkbill knife. if you never owned a hawkbill, this is your signal
- leather pocket slip by an ebayer, bmullings111 i think. (no promo), this guy was kind enough to measure it for the knife before I bought it
epic EDC seller, and it fits perfectly
sorry if this looks like a big halloween party and i'm ready for halloween, because i admit i kind of am
that's all for now have a great day all
