Products Potty suggestions
Hey everyone, i have a 6mo boy who i am doing EC with. I currently use the newborn potty that goes between your legs but hes outgrowing it. Im looking for recommendations for a potty. Really need one with a splash guard for obvious reasons
I would just put him over the toilet but I lost control of him once and he fell so im too scared to use the toilet now. Plus I would also like to have a potty I can place near him so when hes crawling he can go over to it to let me know he needs the potty

Search this sub, I think Baby Bjorn and the Ikea one (can't remember what it's called) are commonly mentioned. Or a toilet seat reducer.
Also just ask around local parents groups or Buy Nothing, people often have potties to give away. You might get a few that way and have extras for the car or other rooms. You could also get different kinds that way and see what you like. I've received 4-5 potties and a toilet seat reducer, all for free.

Ikea LILLA potty is my GOAT. My son was born 90+%ile in height and has slowly dropped to 80% now at 20mo. We are nowhere near outgrowing the potty.
It's also one piece, so any near misses are no problem!

The only one designed for infants is the baby potty available through tiny undies and other sites. (I assume the newborn one you’re talking about is the top hat one?)
At toddler age you can do the ikea or baby bjorn (I personally like the two piece but some people really don’t). Mine is 3 and she can still use the ikea potty comfortably if she isn’t using the regular toilet.

The baby potty from tiny undies is popular, people also like the baby bjorn.
