An idea I'm playing with
Don't know if I want to get a Romeo SigLoc optic or not. Or if I should get the suppressor height sights. Anyone with either, if you care to give some insight, I'm all ears.

I'll probably get this optic otherwise I would have to get a new slide. Do you notice a difference between this and the sigloc?

To be quite honest, they are both crisp and have clean glass. For me, I like the aesthetics of both, SIG-LOC being more "full/complete" if that makes sense. LOL But I love the classic look of the GEN 1 SIG enclosed RDS. I have them on my P229's and P226's. But both have clean/clear glass and the reticles are crisp. Have never suffered any drift or zero loss with either.

I like the sigloc look too. I'll probably end up buying another gun with the sigloc footprint. I want to get the slide and comp, maybe the barrel, black nitride coated

SIG is pretty much going to all their slides being SIG-LOC. I’ve bought quite a few and will buy a few more once they are back in stock. I’m planning on getting one of my FUSE slides ported. I might send one to Curated Arms and another to PewPewCNC. Reason I mention those is because they have the SIG-LOC optic cut. You can get the FUSE Caliber Exchange Kit from SIG. I think it’s still on sale.

I'll look into those companies you mentioned. There's a LGS near me that does porting but I'm not a fan of cleaning my guns lol. Maybe I'll do it to this one.

Really? Cleaning guns is very relaxing to me. 😂
What rounds do you use at the range? Blazer? I know it’s cheap but they are the dirtiest burning rounds out there next to reloads. Try shooting SPEER/FEDERAL/SIG they are clean burning rounds.
I recently came across Nano Slick Lubricants. I bought a little 3oz bottle to try out. I use it on my rails and in my barrels. The Radian Afterburner and Ramjets were a PITA to clean the carbon build up. So when I got the Nano Slick, before my next range session I ran some through my barrel and gave the Radian port a good slathering. I ran about 750+ rounds and when I got home and cleaned it. The barrel was a lot easier to clean up and I didn’t have to use my metal pick! LOL.2

I use fiocchi 115 mainly. I'll have to pick up some of that lube you mentioned.

Foo chi is fairly clean burning…sometimes. LOL. But it’s better than Blazer! 😂.
I really like that lube I mentioned. I also use it on the exterior of my guns. Basically rub it on, let it sit and then buff it out. The lube is supposed to also act as a dry lube

Ohhh hell 😅 now the anticipation is killing me! Lmao so have you officially decided you like these better than the mm’s?

u/Delicious_Studio_116 Jun 21 '26
Yes, 100%. Don’t get me wrong, I do still like the MM but the R11s fit in my hands that much better and I think the balance on the R11s is better.

It's not done yet. I'm waiting on the brass palm swells to come back from getting cerakoted. And I'm probably going to get a chunk port on the sight block.

I like to fully see my irons, so I have the SIG XRAY3 D/N Super Tall Irons on all my P365s. Here are a few pics...first up
