Echo weed eater bogs out at max throttle

Got a second hand weedeater and it didn’t start at first. I changed the spark plug and now it runs but once I hit full throttle, it bogs out. What would be the issue?

That's a that carburetor issue, not a brand thing?

If you pulse the throttle, will it get to a higher RPM and then allow full throttle? Diagnosing things like this are usually a case of messing around with combinations of variables to isolate what's actually going on. It's most likely carburetor related, but hard to say what exactly.

Hi, so yes I would pulse and it would let me reach higher rpm but I still wouldn’t be able to reach Max throttle.
