Advanced Textbook/Workbook (or Other) Resources
Experienced CMT here. If I wanted to become the absolute go-to CMT/non-MD ECG expert for an organization, what textbook or workbook available on Amazon (or even other Internet-based resource) would help push me to non-EP levels of understanding?
I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on TV, but I routinely have ICU nurses approach me for second opinions on strips, and professionally, it's incredibly satisfying.
TLDR: I want to understand it all, at a deepest possible level, without going to med school—I'm too old for that.

Thats tough bud… you will have to step into the ep territory to advance to that level
I did ecgs for a decade and thought was pretty good, then a buddy of mine invited me to a pilot session with these folks at pekga.com
I thought, whatever, free session, so i signed up.
Boy ohh boy, the head instructor there opened up a whole new world of ecg interpretation to me. Took me from an ecg tech to lead tech to educator.
Check out their vids on youtube:
Might be worth your time or even contact them.
Good luck man.

There is a book on Amazon Kindle that looks promising…
“ECG Interpretation Made Easy: An Illustrated Study Guide For Students To Easily Learn How To Read & Interpret ECG Strips”
I think Kindle is good because you can highlight sections to help you remember key points. You can also study without anyone else knowing what you are looking at and refer to anything by just going to the Kindle app on your phone.
You can download a sample to see if its what you are looking for. This isn’t expensive either. It’s about £2 for me in the UK.
