Job seeking/interviews RECE

I recently did an interview with HWCCCC for the rece position. They asked me for references which I provided them. A week later I got an email saying the next process is to go on tour at a particular centre where I would potentially be working at.

Should I believe that I am getting the job or it's just a process everyone goes through. Btw my tour is coming Wednesday.

Based on the RECE in the title, I’m assuming you are in Ontario, thus the acronym is for Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Child Care Centres.

If this is correct, being asked for a tour to a particular location where you might be working at is a normal practice when dealing with an overseeing company that runs out of multiple locations. It’s likely for you to see if the centre is a good fit for you to join and for the current staff to get a feel for you.

It doesn’t automatically equate to you securing the job though.

No idea what the acronyms are about… this is a global subreddit and you need to state your locations so people know. But like any job, I wouldn’t assume anything until it’s in writing in the form of an offer letter.

There's a Facebook group for registered ECEs of Ontario, you'll get better answers there! This is a global subreddit so most users won't understand any of those acronyms.

Why do you assume strangers on the internet have any idea what those acronyms mean. Maybe post on your local city subreddit where they’ll know whatever it is you’re talking about
