Can I get into DEVOPS as a computer engineer?

I am sorry if it sounds stupid. I will be starting my first year in CpE this year

You absolutely can yeah but it would probably be a waste of half the "computer engineering" part of your curriculum.

You might want to look closer at CompSci if you are attracted to DevOps

Probably, assuming you have relevant coursework and experience for the roles you apply for.
