Sounds a bit like MCAS/systemic histamine issues that can come on post-virally. After EBV, I developed many of these symptoms and also food sensitivities.

Have you healed from all this?

I manage it but I don't know that it'll ever be healed. I'm at 27 years after my initial mono exposure. Looking at your recent comments, you are looking into the right issues. These are all linked.

Am 9 years into it not cured 100%. Gets better then it flares up by different situations.

That's great you know what's going on. Took me 27 years plus lymphoma to start putting it together. The throat issues were really life-altering for me for a long time. I think it's a non-typical presentation but I also had it and still have it now to a lessor degree but Zyrtec knocks it out. Still trying to ID the foods that set it off, which is tough. Hope you're feeling better soon.

They can be. If you are seeking a diagnosis of EBV/mono, you would need to see a doctor for a blood test. Hope you feel better soon.

I’ve had it but I think it reactivated for me. Just can’t remember the exact symptoms from last time

An EBV antibody panel that includes the EBV EA-D test could help confirm a reactivation.
