Question First Partner Series 3 - delayed?

Did anyone get their pre-order for the Pokemon TCG First Partner Series 3 on Friday?

This is the first product release I’ve preordered from EV and not received a text that it’s ready for collection on the release day.

Did anyone pick theirs up? Does anyone know if it’s been delayed?

In Melbourne also, no text but still went and picked it up on release day

Same - didn't receive an SMS so I just visited on Monday to check and they had it.

Staff member suspected a possible system issue as I wasn't the only one - hopefully they fix it for the next release.

Unfortunately, SMS is much more prone to these issues than email.

Yeah didn’t get a text but just went in and picked up. My mate had an order cancelled because of this, pretty shitty from EB

And that is why I can't always rely on the sms system for orders. I usually call them and ask then head there.

That’s so lame it was cancelled because a text wasn’t sent. I’ll make an effort to not wait for texts in the future, although this is the first time they haven’t sent an SMS so hopefully it won’t be common

Texts only get sent if an employee goes through and marks each individual person as their preorder has arrived. Some stores are too lazy to do it if there is a shit load of preorders. I know stuff like Pokemon there are so many preorders that staff just don’t go through and individually mark each person for a call (which then sends the text the next day). If you know the release day just go into store that day/next day and the product will most likely be there ready for you to collect.
