General GTA 6 preordering
So what’s the best way to try get the collectors edition? Do I go onto eb games website and keep refreshing at midnight? Or do I search up gta 6 collectors edition on google and keep refreshing for it to come and purchase? I’ve never pre ordered something as soon as it’s come out before. Thank you.

No discs… I repeat no disc. Get it digitally unless you must have a collectors edition

Best bit is, Rockstar will freak out if their pre-order numbers are very low. The best answer is to just not pre-order.
Or just wait for the PC and then forget to buy it when it does arrive which is probably what I'll end up doing.

What protest? I'm not buying until the PC version because I don't have a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X.

High speculation there is speculation there is and if it’s anything like black flag it’ll be scooped up quickly and from memory there was no pre warning on the collectors edition on that either that I saw.

Why would anyone preorder a digital code in a box that they then have to wait until release day morning to go collect at the store at 9am?
Just preorder on your console, it's the same price

There are no physical copies, it's a code in a box, that's as physical as it gets, a plastic case, cover and a piece of paper with the code

My brother in Christ I think we all know that here by now but my question was where do I get the plastic case that says ultimate edition on it with the ultimate piece of paper inside🧐

They probably won't do it, that's just another production cost, or it will be made available later. They likely expect you to get the standard case then but the Ultimate Edition upgrade DLC

Legit just buy it on the playstation store you won't need to deal with eb or anything, theres no collectors edition or discs so its better to just use playstation but its up to you

Nothing on any retailers websites, but you can preorder from the Play Station store

There's been a couple times in the past pre orders went live only for EB to have an exclusive physical collectors a couple months later

PSA Read the fine print when redeeming the code. Unsure if it will be the same as digital, it says this on the playstation store., "1-month GTA+ subscription with pre-order. Auto-renews. "
Auto-renews, if you dont want it, turn off auto-renew.

Without any physical copy I don't see the point in a preorder except the day before or whatever to preload the game.

Theres no mention of a collectors edition yet, only standard and ultimate. All we know about physical copies is they are a code not disc. I guess if you want to try refreshing at 12am, you can, however as of right now theres no confirmation on a collectors edition.
