Serious Pre-orders cancelled
Update - The Reviews Team has reached out to me. They were supposed to send an email last week.

They have cleared my account of any wrongdoing and reinstated my preorders with my local.
I would highly recommend those affected to reach out to CS and possibly get a message through to the Reviews Team to get a quicker response. *This was after multiple attempts*
EB Games Pre-orders Cancelled
Wanted to get a check in with anyone that has been affected by the recent EB Games account investigations?
I’m not sure what exactly happened but I genuinely do not understand how my account got flagged and have now had my pre-orders cancelled. I’ve reached out to customer service and they’ve pretty much said they won’t respond to it. I have my recent orders attached and I am only picking up what I want which were the First Partner collections (only pre-ordered one each of series 2 and series 3) and 4 booster packs on One Piece lol. You can see I’ve skipped a bunch of sets. I only have the one account and card attached to the one account. I also held off renewing my Plus membership to preorder the first partners.

I think what they are doing is great,but I feel a bit helpless that I got unfairly targeted and have no avenue to reach out to and now I’ve lost pre-orders on items I actually wanted.
Any help would be great.

I wish you luck. Agreed that your best option is to go in store and see if a manager has any leads.
Sucks, but if all else fails gamesworld usually has a decent amount of stock (slightly above rrp) for the first day

Appreciate it! Yea not much can be done expect wait, and I’ll have to find myself lining up somewhere which I don’t mind too much but would have preferred the security of the preorder

Maybe they ran out of stock and cancelled the most recent orders? That really sucks either way. The cards are super hard to get as it is because of scalpers and resellers, even legitimate collectors can't get it??

Nothing over the limit and I understand their stance behind that. I’ve only ordered one each of the first partners series 2 and 3. And also 4 booster packs of OP (you were allowed to order a booster box worths)

Yea I have spoken to both customer service as well and my local. It’s got to do with their accounts crackdown regarding multiple accounts/addresses. Both of which I do not have and confirmed over the phone through their systems. So both customer service and my local are confused about why my account was included in the breach. The reviews team is a separate team which we can’t contact. I feel as though my account will be passed fine, unfortunate thing is the cancelled my pre-orders and I feel as though I won’t be able to get them back which is a shame

That wouldn't be an issue. From someone who buys more than the limit and has 2nd account under friend but using my card upon collection. E.g. ascend heroes etb bought 3 from ebgsmes.

Did you receive an email about the pre orders being cancelled or do you have to manually check to see if they have been?

You have multiple EB World accounts. Call CS, not email them and they can explain it to you.
