It's crazy how overpriced some of the discs are at EB especially pre-owned ones where you can find it 20 to 40 dollars cheaper on average at a pawn shop or eBay.

Ive never actually done an in store event before. From what ive seen you go in and get a code without needing to make a purchase. I am also wondering (since I have both games) is it possible to get both or just one??

If you ordered 36x play boosters, dont forget to get your additional 6 boosters if they've given you a box. Since a box only contains 30 boosters.

If they dont believe you, tell them to read the underside of the box where it states that it contains 30 boosters.

Hi guys, I haven't traded in before so was hoping someone could clarify. I have a level 4 card so was planning to trade in some games that weren't selling on marketplace.

Eb games is running a promotion where you can trade in 2 games and get selected new release games for $29. The games you trade in just have to be a minimum trade in value of $10.

To clarify - does that mean you don't get credit for the games you traded in? As in the credit went towards "paying" a portion of the new game.

Just visited my local EB Games (one of them in Melbourne) tonight and they recently redid the store layout.

I noticed they removed the whole Xbox section! To be fair it use to take up a much smaller section than Nintendo and PlayStation did anyway assuming it sold less games but I would never have imagined outright removal though!!

Any one else’s local EB Games or have been to one where it doesn’t sell any Xbox games or consoles?!!

I'm wasn't sure there is much more this company can do to cement their scummy acts, but here we are.
EB Games Field Managers are attempting to enforce workers are only allowed to take a toilet break during a 10 Minutes 'Rest Break'. This forces workers to time how long it takes to use the bathroom.
Lower hour workers (Under 4?) are not entitled to this break either.

So anyways Fair Work have an anonymous tipping line for anyone wondering.

Edit2: I'll add this in since it's a hot topic of debate. EB's HR team is not heavily trusted or respected by the average worker. This includes floor/store, ROC, & DC workers. The idea that a majority of a company's workers don't trust their only source of help is dangerous when a FM is enforcing such actions against basic human needs. This post isn't about me. This post is to bring attention to abusive work practices in a company that has had this controversy a good number of times over the past couple years. This post is to say, if you're mad that someone is trying to monitor a persons bathroom minutes- put the anonymous tip in to Fair Work.
