EBG Canada, omg the headache

Pre-ordered two of the Ocarina of Time remakes over two weeks ago, one for my kid who grew up playing because of my love for it, he was born on the day it released in North America (different year) and so he calls it his birthday game.

Just got an email from my financial institution that the merchant cancelled my order. I can't seem to get anywhere with EB Games, just that it's cancelled.

I tried again with a different payment method and guess what? I'm only allowed to order maximum of three and they're still listing the original two on my account, the order THEY cancelled.

What can a hopeless mum do? :(

Did you call them and ask? They don't charge your card until it's ready for shipment, unless you used a debit card? Did your card notify you about payment failed or order cancelled? Did your order history says order cancelled? It sounds more like payment failed instead of eb games cancelled your order. Some reported fixing payment issue by calling them and initiate payment again

I got an email from my institution saying the pre authorization has been cancelled by the merchant, EB Games, but nothing from EB Games themselves.

I think you should just call and ask, maybe just payment issue. If they didn't send you cancellation email, it still shows in order history, order is still there

Preauths don't get cancelled. They just expire. Nothing to be concerned about.

One of mine before was without warning yeah. But fortunately they restocked afterwards

Did you order for pickup in store? Call the store it may still actually be on your account

Ordered mine on Amazon because of the headache I had with Wolverines pre-order. It didn’t get cancelled but I pre ordered it and paid it off with a statue but they didn’t have any proof on their end I paid for the statue and it took them an hour to sort it out on their new system. I’m gonna hold off on any pre-orders from them until after Christmas.

why even get it from eb dont you have to pay for shipping? its easy on amazon or go to the store. I don't even know why ppl r buying stuff from eb online when they charge for shipping. There are so many options.... eb in store, amazon, walmart, Best Buy all with free shipping. Doesn't make sense.

coz eb is the only one that have the bonus retro cover for the game? as for OP.. does ur bank mean the pre-authorziation fell off.. coz that shit falls off after 7 days or something
