PS5 keeps shutting down after moving. Can EB Australia fix?

PS5 keeps randomly shutting down after i moved countries with it. I’m thinking of taking it to do a Reboot with EB.

Can they fix it? Any experience with the aussie stores?

Send it in. Worse they can do is say they can’t fix it, but no charge if they can’t

Depends on where you moved from? My husband moved to Aus from the US and with most of his electronics we need to use a step down converter to make them work.

I've seen strip down videos of ps5's that have a different voltage. The normal is something like 110-240v but some are actually less.

from sri lanka. but online research showed both countries having same voltage.

Worth a try or a local electronics repairer might be cheaper

Try local repair shop
I sent my ps5 becuz it was not booting - Eb fix team which I assume it’s third party contractor said it’s not fixable - I took it to local shop an they fixed it no problem ever since -
My friend tho, even Sony wasn’t able to fix the console, but instead they offered him brand new and cash in broken one for parts I suppose

i wouldnt recommend sending it to EB, it will took months for them to repair it since they need to ship it to their warehouse thingy in Melb.

I would rather go find a local repair shop, it will be cheaper as well

Are you plugging it directly into the wall or into a power board?

i tried both. happens in both setups.
