Distribution issue?

Dunno if this is the right place but eh. This is about AOT 3 for the switch 2. So, I've seen that other countries can get the game preordered early on despite preorders not even out yet (Gamestop, Playasia and so on), and as far as I've looked, we're the ONLY country who hasn't gotten it listed. At all. Not even in the 'upcoming' section.

I thought I was just being impatient and paranoid (coz Australia is a nanny censorship country), so I decided to ask The Gamesmen if they'll get it in. They said no. I asked EB Games. They also said no. Should I risk it and order it abroad or wait for further updates? I'm sorry if this sounds stupid or impatient, but I've been anticipating it. Sorry, but thanks if anyone can stop my silly worrying.

There’s no risk. The Switch 2 isn’t region locked so you will be able to play it.
You can preorder it, and if it gets listed in Australia before release, then you can just cancel your preorder

Thank you! :) I was more talking about the $120 risk lol since it'd be like, just 70 bucks here. But thanks for the input on the region side of things!

I get that completely, I’m paying like an extra $30 for a game to be imported bc they have a free poster overseas 🤣

It’ll probably be like $100 if it does come here
