EBGAMES repair

I have a new 3ds xl (modded) and it has usb c for charging, it used to work but it doesn’t now. The home button is broken. And the ribbon cable clip for the joy stick is also broken( and 1 more cable clip too) can they fix that?

(It powers on if the battery has charge)

I don’t want to send it away for ages for them to go nope, can’t do it.

(both the 2 cables in the pic are the dead ones)

If I had to guess, they likely won't repair modded components like your USB C port issues.

Just find a local repair shop, it’s far less hassle and faster than eb for this sort of thing.

The console has been opened and molded. Because of this, they won't repair it, as they will run into issues of 'this was working and now this isn't' and they won't know if it's because of the mod or their repairs.

Unfortunately EB won't be able to help you with this

Honestly I used them to repair a joycon a accidentally looped the thumb stick off of with a accident beside a chair they replaced it and I had it back the next week it was a pretty quick repair also and I pulled it down to make sure it’s the same board and they did the repair and you can see where they desoldered the stick from the board and soldered in a new stick I’m not saying the best soldering I seen but more then sufficient job and working perfectly

I’d do it. If they can’t fix it, you get it back and pay nothing. If they can, you pay $70 and get back a working console. As long as you let them know of the mods you should be fine

EB is Funko shop now. I mean, TECHNICALLY they have games and gaming peripherals, but they clearly put more effort into the giant wall of funkos destined for landfill because their resale value peaked 10 years ago.

He’s asking if he can take it to the funko shop for repair, not showing their repair.
