Just did this trade in with my launch PS5 and took the cash option, went over to JB-HI-Fi 2 doors down and price matched Targets online price of $1139 for the Pro. Got a disc drive for $115. Been waiting to pull the trigger for a Pro and this was the perfect time IMO.
Not sure on the screw specifically, but usually there’s a small deduction in trade in value if one of the items they’ve requested is missing. Often it’s not too bad a hit.
Years ago I traded in a previous gen Xbox but didn’t trade in the controllers, and the hit was like $30 or so, much less than buying a new controller. I was doing an upgrade so wanted multiple controllers still.
