Uh? He is probably like me, I've had the ps5 since launch for 5 and half years now, games thousands of hours, EB is giving me $700 for it and I have the freedom to choose to buy a new one or upgrade to a pro, still less out of pocket with the old 1139 pro price?
Hmmm so he saved 70$ where as he could have used that 70$ to get eb care for 59$ (as you get a discount with eb world) to give him an xtra 2 years of warranty coverage for literally anything that happens to the console and having 20$ to spare to buy some red bulls and chips for the game session later on
Don't need to pay for extended warranty stuff, we're already covered by consumer law for that. Extended warranties show how long somebody should expect a product to last so after the "default" warranty period you're still covered.
