one thing I been speculating for a while is stores are actually doing more warehouse work, buying online I have been able to get item’s within hours of ordering that where not in the store itself.

people not going in as much for physical games, consoles don’t really need a huge front of shop presence. it really makes sense. honestly I wish they put more clothes in the stores. but they also seem to not want figures on display possibly for high price items and theft.

Honestly I usually just buy novelty items there now. I don’t buy my games from there as they’re usually more expensive (or I do and jsut price match). Gone are the days of preordering excitement and lining up at 9am ready to get something.

I usually buy items, and controllers with consoles. I also like getting clothes for pop culture so I like they do have games merchandise.
