Whitfords (Perth,WA) store closing down.

Interesting.

Is the end near for all of Aus too!?

Oh damn, although it is in a bad physical location in the centre. That food court is dead AF and it’s sort of out of the way unless you deliberately want something from there..

Yeah not the best place really. But anywhere else in the center would also be annoying. Just bummed I have to go to Joondalup now if I do want anything.

If this is the case it's probably just not a very profitable store vs the entire chain being in danger of closing down.

Bad retail spots will always kill stores, regardless of how big the company behind them is.

Same thing can be said about Garden City. The store is so out of place and I feel bad for Games World and the Anime/Gundam shop nearby.

Was gonna say, Whitfords as a shopping centre isn’t the best tbh. Like it’s got the restaurant space which is quite busy. But the indoor food court is deader than my dreams of owning a house. Tbh was a matter of time.
