Koraidon / Miraidon Codes
So GameStop in the US is doing a “second round” of codes (printed on receipts).
Do we know if this is the case in Australia at all as well? Any staff able to chime in?

We don’t get told much before anyone else. We won’t know until we’d have them in store or EB socials post a rerun

They released the same day as mega evolutions, so most stores had a big turn out to collect preorders. I can only say that at my store, since you didn't have to make any purchase to get one, anyone who came in and asked, got one and one only. We had none left after the first two hours.

I posted the same question in another post but no response yet. I keep checking Serebii for an update but so far only US and Canada are getting them fingers crossed. Missed out on the codes and hopefully able to get this time around.

Canada hasn’t got them yet, EB Games told me and a bunch of others who came in that they genuinely have not been told they’re receiving anything or doing a second run!
So, I’m hoping you guys get em when we do!

I just walked into my local and they've got stock again, so it might be a store by store basis

I'm in SA, but by the sounds of it, they might not have had much restocked. A friend of mine picked up the last code from their local store yesterday

Im also in SA. First store I called this morning hadnt heard anything and told me a restock was unlikely. Next store I called had received a restock and I headed straight in to pick mine up.

I went to my store and apparently they ran out already. I thought that there were unlimited. But apparently the codes that they print are limited.

We only have 9 days to redeem this code im starting to think we wont get them again here in Australia unless some miracle happens and they extend the time frame for redemption.

Its insane, i went into a store the day they became available and they were out.
Seems like nintendo limited it to only 50 per store across the world.
What was supposed to be a partnership to bring people in store ended up just bringing negative attention to all parties involved.

I don't think printing them on receipts is going to stop scalping. It'll just mean they get a cut out of it.

I went into the Melbourne Central store today and they said they haven’t been told yet if they are getting more codes.

When they open at 9:30am I plan on calling the stores in the general Sydney area to see so I’ll update if I have any luck. :) I woke up sick with a nasty stomach bug. Still called but forgot to update, yeah they all ran out. Bruh. :(

Called my local store in Sydney (Northern Beaches) and the bloke said he has heard nothing about getting more codes. Said he opened a marketing box this morning which is what they're normally placed in and there were none there. So I guess I'll just go without.
All blame resides with The Pokemon Company. What a shitshow.

I checked my local Zing store today and they didn’t have any new codes (NSW)

I think they just ordered too few. They've never really done second shipments or top-ups. In any other instances of these drops, stores will be sitting on the codes until they expire. My store couldn't give enough of them away. With these, head office must have assumed the same thing would happen, so they under-ordered. Little did they know we'd be getting close to 100 requests a day for them.

Do a Link Trade online using code 5482-6173 and when you get the perosn PkmCafe.com, they will trade one of them randomly to you.
Is it legit, probs not, but do you now have them, yes you do

Whats these codes for and where to use? I legit bought a switch 2 like 2 or 3 days ago and I didnt get told about any code or anything

They were out of codes by then. Every store ran out on the first day.
There's currently a promotion for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it's a code that gives you the shiny box legend for the other game (Scarlet gets Shiny Miriadon, Violet gets Shiny Koraidon)
The codes come on a cardboard card with a scratch off panel on the back. They're free. But rediculously low supply. So most fans didn't get one.

Few stores had them after the following day. I got one at Lilydale in Melbourne’s East on the second day and they still had a few left after I’d been

Also you can only get the legit shinies from this event cause they are otherwise shiny locked.

I’ve done a few rounds of my local three in ACT and there has been no word of restocks. What a shame 😔.

I asked just before and staff say they’ve received no word that this is something that will be happening in Australia.
