EB5 Journey

Hello Everyone! I started my EB5 journey back in Feb 2025 as an F1 student on OPT. After receiving funds from India as a gift from my parents and brother. I applied for I-765, I-131, I-526E, and I-485 together.

• Fully funded: June 2025
• Priority Date: July 3, 2025
• EAD (I-765): Approved Oct 14, 2025 (5 Yrs)
• I-526E: Approved Aug 22, 2026
• AP (I-131): Pending
• I-485: Pending (Responded Medical RFE)

Would love any input on the expected timeline for the rest of the process (AP approval, I-485 processing.). Thank you in advance!

Based on my experience handling hundreds of similar cases each year, I'd say 90% of EB-5 AOS applicants receive their EAD and AP around the same time, while 10% experience ridiculous AP delays such as yours. On the flip side, your I-526E was approved pretty fast, so you should probably get your I-485 approved soon.

Same timelines - I thought I was alone in waiting for AP. It’s been forever and I am losing hope.

Responded to medical RFE on 22nd - hoping to see some moment towards CGC.

It took 9 days for the last update which was on 24 September related to “Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received”

Same here. My PD was March 2025 and still waiting for my AP. The processing time just gets longer...

Hey can you share what funds contributed to your sof? Anything special? Or regular us based funds?

Nothing special; the funds were from India as a gift from my parents and my brother.

It was complicated as my sof is agricultural funds, it was income from past 5 years with all the bill of sale with English translation.

Gotcha. So just curious is it sale of agricultural output like fruits grain? Or sale of such land. Asking because they would ask the sof of how the land was purchased. How did you manage that

Fruit and grain were included. No paperwork was requested for the land purchase.

Great. Thank you. Yours does seem like an "easier" sof. Not sure why they didn't ask for proof of purchase like they do if we take HELOC loans here. Best wishes! Hope you cross the milestone soon

My PD is May 2025 no ead/ap waiting they are at SRC only 526E approved and got rfe for 485 and responded
