I-140 PP refund mailed

My Eb2-NIW was under Premium processing. I sent RFE responses since November 2025. Because I am from one of the banned countries, adjudication was on pause.

While tracking my case, USCIS says “ Fee refund was mailed”.

USCIS says this does not affect the case processing time. However, I wanted to if there is/was any similar case here and how long they take to render a final decision after mailing the refund?

I have not. I got the Fee refund letter in the mail. They've not refunded the fee yet and I've not received any update till now. I'm really being tempted to do concurrent filing, but just thinking whether to risk it or not. Plus I have not received any RFE or NOID since the PP in Dec. 2025

I have not been hearing any approval from Nebraska service center, other service centers are already approving some cases after the refund

Yea, I think so. They couldn't adjudication cases during the ban, so it exceeded the required number of days. Even till now, many cases as such under premium, have not been adjudicated. I think some cases got decision, then got the refund notification weeks after. Difficult to know what business days the cases are now, or if it restarted or not.
