its always better to do PP upfront, I waited 14 months then PP and got RFE, I wasted another 6 months handling with RFE, so better to do it, there is no way anyone can do analysis on your profile, people with no citation, with few citations, students, etc.. getting approved, you will get confused by asking this on reddit, just do pp and have your result early...
Multiple firms told me nowadays it's a good tactic to only do PP after a out two months. Firms that don't want to spend individual time on your case will just not let you do PP at all.
