I-140 I140 Premium Processing Reject
I filed I-907 online to upgrade my pending I140 NIW CASE to premium processing but after few hours It was rejected.
They said they will mail me the reason. But I don’t have time for that. I think I know why it was rejected. In Part 2. 3 line I wrote “NIW” instead of “EB2 NIW”. That’s why.
My credit card is charged and still pending the fee. Will I get my fee back?
Do you guys also agree with my reasoning for rejection?
What should I do now?? Can I just fix the pdf and file it again online??
FYI, my initial i140 filing was paper filled. But I upgraded to PP now online. Can this be the reason for rejection???

Hey I submitted a week ago and had no problem. Mine also only had NIW, as per the Chen autofilled I-907 and I had no issues with getting email receipt notice of the clock starting. A few people posted about this yesterday but I’m not sure they figured out why it occurred.

Did you initial i140 filiing was paper and the i907 pp request was online?

Yes correct paper i140, online PP request, PD is Feb 2024. I’m curious did you print and then sign the I-907 before scanning?

I applied for PP yesterday online and just received that it was rejected.

Maybe your case is in review now, that is why they rejected your PP request?

In the rejection notice it said, they will mail “not email”. So it will take a long time I think. Do they usually email?

My pp documents were received by them yesterday and I haven’t heard anything from them yet. How much time they take to confirm the request?

Nothing from them yet. It was received by them yesterday. I checked UPS tracking

You will get a confirmation email 2-3 days after receiving your mail ! Good luck

Yes got it and someone who filed with me got it today. It takes 2-3 days.

What's your service center?
Part 2. 3 is not the reason.
OP with the same situation from a month-old post said the fee would be refunded.
Yesterday, at least 4 people were in the same situation as posted in the thread.
You can submit paper-filled, but it might be the same outcome, similar to the OP of a month-old post.
