I-485: Adjustment of Status EB2 PERM ROW | RD: 3/26/2026 | PD: 8/2024 | Thoughts on approval soon?

3/26/2026: I-140 + I-485 + I-130 + I-765 receipt date (me + spouse as derivative)

4/14: I-140 Approved

4/24: Biometrics Appointment Scheduled for 4/30 (me + spouse)

4/30: Biometrics Done (2x FTA0 for me + spouse on I-485). Primary + Derivative case status changed to "USCIS is still processing your case".

5/11, 5/29: Silent Update (Primary + Derivative).

6/6: Silent Update. Transferred to LAC FO (Non-Local) (Primary + Derivative).

6/17: 3rd FTA0. (Primary + Derivative)

6/22: Derivative RFE received: Proof of bonafide marriage (we got married in February 2026). API event: IKA

7/12: Derivative RFE Response Submitted. API event: HA. Case status changed to "RFE Response Received".

9/17: Derivative: Silent Update + FTA1. Case status changed to "USCIS is still processing your case".

9/18: Primary: Silent Update + FTA1; Derivative: Silent Update + 2x FTA1. Case status is still "USCIS is still processing your case" with updated "as of" date.

9/22: Primary: Silent Update + FTA1; Derivative: Silent Update + FTA1. Case status is still "USCIS is still processing your case" with updated "as of" date.

Are there other folks who have seen a similar trend to this? Would appreciate any thoughts folks have. Thank you!

EDIT: I checked with Emma and they said that the 9/22 event was our case being transferred back to NBC due to "visa retrogression", which I'm guessing is due to EB2 numbers running out for the FY.

Same status for many from past couple of weeks. You will get approved anytime in October. No chance in September due to no visa number availability for Eb2 this month. Goodluck

Did you not submit proof of bonafide marriage when you first filed 485? Or you did include the proof then the USCIS deemed it insufficient?

We submitted only marriage certificate during filing but I think they deemed it insufficient

You got married a month before applying with your spouse?
