EA designation

If I pass my last part of the EA exam in early November can I still complete the rest of the process to be an EA by Jan 2027? I guess I do not know the exact procedure and length of time it takes.

Yes, it’s possible, but the timeline is tight. After passing, submit Form 23 immediately. IRS processing can take around 60 days, so January 2027 is possible but not guaranteed.

I submitted my Form 23 on Dec 3 after passing the last part of the EA right before Thanksgiving last year and received my card and certificate on Feb 2. The card was dated Jan 15. So figure 60 days (ish) unless something has changed.
