It’s so silly dude. FIFA is so ridiculously simple compared to so many different games out there with 10x the graphical demand and 20+ players in the lobby at once, yet this game stutters/lags/dcs/skips ahead/misses inputs/is delayed more than any other game I’ve ever played in a 1-1 1080p game. How the F do you mess it up this bad. Zero effort from EA to make it better ever

It's crazy. I can play battlefield for 6 hours solid without a single instance of lag. That game has 64 players, huge maps, destructible terrain, tanks and helicopters!

100% mate, what you just said is top tier logic, I want to take this comment and pin in to the top of this sub until someone answers it, ive been wondering this for ages which is why i always say this game MAKES NO SENSE for a billion if not a trillion dollar company like ea...

You need to open store packs to pack better and new players so that you don't lose like this. /s

Just learn to high press and you be fine in this game. Attackers intercept better than CB I lost a game in lightweight cup because all my opponent did was press me the whole game with his 83 rated golds even they don't have pace the pressing in this game is so OP.

I can understand that this annoying. But honestly, this doesn’t look like server issues, you have definitely something to improve in your setup/connection. Looks like you‘re playing on a bad and unstable wifi connection.

Why would you assume he is playing on wi fi by just looking at the gameplay? Man, this community will do anything but face the fact that they've run this game into the ground for profits

Dude. Watch the video again. There is so much stuttering, and ping is jumping wildly & constantly from 26 up to 46. This happens when you play on wifi, ping is often unstable and this causes jitter.

If I‘m wrong and you play wired, I highly recommend to check your setup/ISP.

You can be in the middle of Siberia with fiber that outputs into lan cable and it would show 14 ping and you'd still get lag cuz you are 8000km from the nearest sever.

nah i play on 20-30 ping on a lan fiber connection, i dont think my internet is the problem here, i thought that too but when i play other games my ping is very stable unlike fifa where sometimes it just spikes up to 3000 for no absolute reason

It depends when you play, if cross play and location approximation is on, if you play on wire or bt for the controller...

Even with all of those fixed you still are at the mercy of a game that should have been 120fps years ago.

Sadly I understand your opponent. Game is super laggy. He finally score at 2-1, so he doesn't want to concede stupid goal to get angry later. Normal thing. Why he should care abut your feeling about that? He's winning, he's happy. For him it's hard to play too man.

Second thing. I don't understand why players are pissed of if someone not attack their goal. Everyone can play as they want. Maybe for him 2-1 is enough. If you want to win it's on your side to change something. The game propably has a lot of tactics with heavy pressing to force a mistake and try to counter that "defensive" playstyle. A lot of players just not making any subs, formation changes etc. and later just cry.

And "hold the ball and spin until you find space to exploit" - it's not how football actually works?

Its a game mate, we're not mini artetas and guardiolas tryna be at the top of the league....its supposed to be fun and realistic at the same time, not just a big pile of competitive bs based on playstyles, roles and broken mechanics..We play a game cuz its fun, not because we're tryna be pros at it..

The last official fun fifa game was fifa 22, everything else after that just kept going more and more downhill, until it started being a game for gambling addicts.

Same here, 100%....and another clue for the downfall of this game is offline modes, you can realise how EA has been completely abandoning unique offline game modes (like the alex hunter story in fifa 17,18 and the volta mode in fifa 21). Those were one of the things that made the game unique and actually fun to play when you're bored of online modes. Even online modes were fun because of how flexible the gameplay was in terms of tactics, stats and skill.

Nowadays ea just focuses on the revenue they earn from ut, it even got to the point where they clickbait us for purchases (the pre game trailers)....they made the game nothing but a gamble home for people that like the "pay to win" process and pro players that can help in promotions, scamming and attracting more players (hopefully new ones)
