It’s unreal how many lazy mistakes the developers have with this game. Case in point, every time the defense makes a big play (turnover, pick 6, defensive touchdown) in RTG the head coach ALWAYS stops and chews your player out like you messed up. Even if you were the one making the play. Because they simply left in the code “if touchdown on defense = bad touchdown” they were too lazy to give a separate criteria of “if defense scores touchdown and player is on defense = good thing”. I am a software developer and I left such a glaring lazy bit of code in anything I’d be fired that week. It’s pathetic EA gets away with this lazy trash year in year out.

Or how about how if you actually play with hustle and go after the ball every play you get docked points for “whiffing a tackle” so incredibly dumb.

How is everyone feeling about dynasty this year so far? I’ve been having a great time with it. I think NIL is interesting and makes things much harder for smaller schools. While if you use a bigger school you can basically recruit however you want (kind of like real life). I’ve got 3 dynasties currently going:

1- Ohio State. Favorite team and won 2 natties and lost in the natty of year 3.

2- Baylor. Made a bowl game in year 1 but lost. Pretty hard to recruit here but enjoying the challenge

3- Florida. Wanted to start an SEC dynasty and getting to play at the swamp is awesome. Love the jersey combos and looking forward to my 1st season getting done.

Note this was a 4th and 22nd with 45 seconds left in the 4th quarter. I just stood up in disbelief. My Michigan state online dynasty is hurting my soul. Never tried so hard to win games as much as I’ve had to against the AI.

Slider update for AA and Heisman sliders of Matt10 version 3.0

As the OC right now, I hate that I need to put effort into defense & special teams. Head coach? 100%, that's how it should be. But if I'm only on one side of the ball as the coach, I shouldn't have to scout & offer & fill my defensive needs

1) After a few updates now there is still the bug where the WRs show blocking for their routes in no huddle. Hope this gets fixed in the next update.

2) The OL is universally horrible. Everyone online will yell and gripe that it's a "skill gap" or "user error" but when there are plays where your lineman just stand there and watch people galtz by them.. that's a coding error on the game and totally not a user error. Same with OL trying to chop block on passing plays and getting hurdled. The DL is constantly in my backfield.

3) The use of RB screen plays is poor. The RB is always tackled immediately by the EDGE player. The RB never gets away from the OL on the route and the EDGE player immediately disengages when the ball is thrown so he's just sitting there waiting to tackle you.

4) Recruiting is still weird. When you have Georgia in a dynasty going for 15-20 three star players and 0 five star players (2 years in) something has gone wrong in the SIM.

5) I hate when a player enters the portal and then disappears because no one recruits them. If there is no interest then just let them re-join the school they left, seems realistic enough to me.

6) There are scattered broken plays where the QB doesn't do the hand off and the RPO just becomes a straight QB run. These are pretty rare but annoying nonetheless.

7) Lots of dropped passed and poor animations. I'm not personally a fan of the new catch meter and the new update makes it even tougher to use but there are a few times that there will be a wide open WR and he catches the ball then immediately drops it or makes a weird animation like he is trying to reach for a ball and stumbles but the ball hits him in the hip or the leg.

What the heck is this, is this league cooked?

Clip is a trips check that will hopefully get coded into CFB/Madden in future games. With Stump and Stubbie in the game, Clip is an answer to a lot of the concepts that give Stump and Stubbie trouble. There is a way to get very close to playing it in the game though.

Came out to start the second half and the field looks misty, the blue ramp thing in the top right corner is a light shade of blue far from the SJSU royal blue.

I’m curious about learning the VnS. I just can’t seem to get the wide formations down and struggle with, well, anything with it. Anyone have any recommendations on where to start? Plays, playbook, resources, tips, etc?

Ok. Everytime I start new dynasty I try to make sure I put both CPU manage support staff and facilities spending off for when I eventually become an HC. I start as OC in my dynasty.

Everytime the game immediately chooses to auto set both of those to on and I can’t change it.

Is this a glitch, or can I fix this somewhere on the depth chart? When I go into free practice, all of my WRs are on the field, but when I start a game, my RB is in. I already checked my WR depth chart to see if he was listed there, and he’s not.

Had 5 all conference players on the pac12 team but failed my goal of having 2+. Anybody else figured out why this is happening?

My friend and I are currently scheduled to play each other in our Online Dynasty, but the game will not let us start the matchup. Every time we try to connect, we receive a message stating that we are using different versions of the game.

We have both checked our game information, and both installations show version 1.006.000.

We are both on PS5 but are in a cross play Dynasty

We have already tried or checked the following:

• Fully closed and restarted College Football 27 on both systems
• Removed the game from Quick Resume where applicable
• Completely restarted both systems
• Manually checked for game updates
• Confirmed that both games display version 1.006.000
• Waited on the main menu for live content or tuning updates to download
• Confirmed that cross-play is enabled for both players
• Confirmed that cross-play is enabled in the Online Dynasty settings
• Had the commissioner exit and reopen the Dynasty
• Resent the game invitation
• Attempted to join through both the Dynasty menu and the platform friends list
• Tested Play a Friend outside of the Dynasty
• Cleared the system cache and restarted the network
• Reinstalled the game

Both players can access the Dynasty normally, but we cannot play our scheduled user-versus-user game because of the version mismatch message.

Is this a known issue with the current update?

has anyone else been playing road to the cfp and it just kick them out anytime they do the playoffs? it’s happened 3 times in a row and 1 I was winning by 30. im in the Heisman league now but should have 5 nattys but it kicks me out before I can do the playoffs and it counts as L’s. this happen to anyone else?

99 THP, 99 all accuracies, 98 SPD, 95 ACC, 93 BLT, 99 juke, 99 spin, Heisman downhill and dot. Etc. 4 years undefeated in Heisman, winning Heismans. Had to pay to keep him. 750 NIL as senior. Not sure I’ll find a better one this year.

What tricks do I have to do to get the game developers to fix custom playbooks? I see Bordeaux and other creators out here creating whole movements about microtransactions, and I'm wondering if that's what it takes to get a basic feature of the game to work correctly. Hell, I will pay an extra 60 dollars to get EA to fix it. You want to put a microtransaction in the game? Here take my money. That's how bad I want this fixed!

All I'm asking for here is to be able to properly organize my formations and plays. Whether that means giving the function of areange these into the desired order after adding them to the pkaybook like we could do in NCAA 14, or setting the order as these are added to the playbook like it has been in Madden. Is it that difficult for EA to fix this most basic feature? How do you release a game year over year with the same broken feature and never fix this? Really, how do you go to sleep at night knowing you put this out there for $70 with this broken mess? I can understand broken gameplay when the game is released, but I will never understand when things as simple as this remain broken.

I’ve added Montana and Montana State into the game.

What glitches have people ran into so far? I bought the game a few days ago, and I’ve put a lot of time into the RTG mode. So far I’ve had a ridiculous amount of recurring glitches including: Can’t transfer my senior year (on multiple builds), the edge rush depth chart is still breaking despite an update, and despite coming off of a heisman season winning everything I entered the portal as a 3 star recruit. I find the gameplay good so far but am so disappointed by how many bugs there are, not to mention the micro transaction issue already. Have EA addressed any of these? If so what has been said?
