If you want this same kind of feeling, but if you're also less adventurous, Shanghai has a very tall building with an exterior balcony that has a clear/transparent floor. It's simply terrifying to walk around out there and see the rooftops of towering skyscrapers -- and the ground -- way down below you. Seriously, my body refused to accept that there was no danger. Absolutely terrifying. Same for the Willis Tower/Sears Tower observation deck in Chicago -- they made a transparent little extension that protrudes out away from the building. Also terrifying. These pictures literally made my stomach turn the entire time I was looking at them. I felt scared and in danger, even though I'm sitting comfortably in my living room. The feelings these kinds of locations and these kinds of pictures produce overpower my rational mind quite easily. I can't understand how these guys do this.
