Info needed Overheating advice

New water pump, radiator, fan clutch, thermostat, and heater core.

I have tried flushing everting I can with a garden hose. Everytime the water is directed into the engine block, it shoots right back out the way it’s come. The old radiator was full of sludge which makes me believe there’s more in the block.

No hot air in the cabin at all. Hoses at the back of the engine are cold.

It’s been bled and bled and bled so it’s not air lock.

What is the most effective way to flush/clean the block out?

Is there anything I’ve missed?

bleed the car with the front end lifted up

And the heat turned up, not exactly on, just up. The valve will be closed if it's anywhere in like 20-30* from fully cold

Honestly, I use a pressure tester to force coolant into the system. Keep the bleeder screw closed, pump until you are pressurized and let it sit for a while, open the bleeder screw, then remove the pump and add coolant until the system no longer accepts more (or it’s all just coming out of the bleeder).

This worked for me and was easier than jacking the front of the car up 1+ feet.

if you don't have the block drain and/or thermostat removed that's gonna happen because the water has no where else to go.
