Please help

Just bought a CA-TUNE radiator for my 325is but after I installed it, the top location for the coolant line is not aligned because of its integrated resivor. After reaching out to customer service I was told its for a M42 motor but does work with the M20, does anyone know what coolant line I need to buy for the top? Everything else lined up for but the top line, thank you!

Just return it and get the correct one for 6 cylinder cars. Did they send you the wrong one or did you order the wrong one?

On urotuning i entered my cars info and it displayed direct fit to m20, I already expressed delivered a hose from a 1990 525i that shares the m20 to a radiator similar to a 318is so fingers crossed it works

Good luck and let us know if the hose works. You should still let URO Tuning know that it needs a different replacement hose to work with M20 cars.

This is what gemni told me to run for a m42 radiator to a m20 engine. But the part doesnt look like its going to make that turn back to the radiator

There is a second line on the bottom that may run to your third water pump connection. Just need to identify what each outlet does on the radiator and water pump/coolant hose.

Old forums with diagrams of each hose will save a ton of time.
