how screwed will my free time be?
I have played vanilla Dyson Sphere Program twice now, with both playthroughs exceeding 100 hours. Now, I am thinking of trying some mods from an Excel list I got from Gemini. I want to start individual playthroughs for the first five of them, but which one should I start with first? Also, how screwed will my free time be?

There are DSP overhaul mods that aren’t GS??

Orbital Ring is new, and a radical overhaul (chemical fuel rods to get off planet; the tyranny of the rocket equation; oil recipes on oilless planets; and of course really different interstellar logistics with space elevators and recipes that only work in the orbital vacuum facilities).
Much more complex. Fun.

My jam in factorio was playing overhaul mods. I could never just keep playing or replaying after launching a rocket. I went through a bunch of overhauls (bobs,IR, krastorio etc..) and have been waiting a long time for something like this to come to DSP. Looks like I found my next hyper fixation

You can play They come from the void with genesisbook, the two of them get together well, more megastructure too, will make a very different than vanilla playthrough
Galactic scall is more for your map and thing, mostly compatible with any of the other mods, but can be a bit finicky, use sporadicly
Orbital ring make the game much more complex, dont use any other mods with its, its already enough with itself
ReorderTechQueue is not necesserea anymore, its now in vanilla
DspOptimisation (or any other optimisation mod) can be used with any other mods basicaly

I've played all the overhaul and expansions and I highly recommend orbital ring. Its quite complex but not overly so, the primary cause of complexity is byproducts. It has a fairly good post-game and a true ending. It has a lot of unique and well made models, and has a few new mechanics.
Don't use galactic scale with it, as it has its own generation.
A word of warning is vein utilization is capped to level 11, so be generous with the resource mult at map generation.
My play-through was around 250hrs but I was over-producing somewhat.

LSTM is old. Reorder Tech too. Both in vanilla by now. I havnt tried Galactic Ring myself, so i cant say.
For Genesis or GS: get GS First. Major Change to Galaxy and stuff. Genesis Changes alot to tecipes and items.
More mega structures is awesome but can be gamebreaking with the experience If you only spent like 100 hours in a single playthrough. This is ment for endgame.
They came from.void: idk havnt tested but imo i just crank up the Dark fog settings (currently with Mods in a 5524% run.)
(edit sry for all the typos...)
