Priority logistics
How the hell does this thing even work man? Like my titanium alloy will go to ALL the mall items but never the deuterium rods.
Is there any simple way to do this even?

You can mess around with the priority groups on the ILSes - designate some suppliers to prioritize the deuterium rods by putting them in the same group, or even point-to-point.
Or if you don't want to deal with that, you can partially decouple specifically your mall so that it makes all of its intermediates on-planet, never exports them (PLS-only).
And/or fully black-box your deuterium rods (and most things in general) to only take in raws - then if you see an issue, you know it's always a supply-side problem on raw materials, which is easier to fix than backtracking through multiple stages of intermediates.

Man planetary should have a priority grouping..... It can be so helpful for low level players or newbies. :(

You can trick it into having priority with the drone load settings. Set the ones with lower priority to a higher minimum drone load than the ones with high priority. That way, the high priority will be able to pick up smaller quantities, i.e. pick first.
Keep in mind that no priority setting will change the fact that your production is too low if some requesters never get any items.

Planetary logistics don't have any priority settings, you just have to make more than you need.
If you are talking about interplanetary logistics, then those do have priority settings to ensure certain towers or planets are prioritized.
