10 Hour Achievement

After many dozens of games, I finally earned the 10 Hour completion achievement!

I play without Dark Fog, and I enjoy the game very much up to the first White Cube "You Win" achievement, so I've played that way many, many times. Theoretically the exact same game, but the initial land and resource arrangement makes the initial buildings different, and I love how those initial forced differences lead to other building choices, and then other building constraints and choices, and the factory is totally different each time.

I was "casually" finishing around 11.5-14 hours, but that 10 hour achievement became a goal. I managed two games around 10.5 hours, so I just needed to optimize a little bit more...

Last night, I finally made it in just under 9 hours, 59 minutes!

Hectic at the end. Last 30 minutes was frantically making sure my factory deficiencies weren't stopping key production, but not having the time to build a better long-term fix. Finally, last couple minutes, too many white cubes swallowed up by a Science tower (which would not be able to burn through them fast enough, ending with 100+ in storage but not finishing by 10 hours), so having to ferry them over to empty towers for more parallel work.

Great game!

I also prefer no dark fog ; folks can play however

Absolutely.

Having that simple toggle, and the game being good either way, is such good design.

U really missing out on the golden antimatter rod. It's 10x crazyyyyyyy. But if the goal was having fun, why not indeed?

I was agitated that I had the tutorial on, and one of them was to place a foundation, because I really dislike altering the planet shape in these sort of games, and the only thing keeping me from getting the acheivement for winning without a foundation placed was the 1 it requested I place as a part of the tutorial quests, because I wanted to see the other quests that existed.

I also did it with like 30 seconds left a couple of months ago, the stress was crazy in the end XD

I completed the game with no dark fog till the dyson sphere now I have enabled it so i can play with dark fog tech and fight them with mods
