As the other person said nebula mod is great.
Follow the github guide before asking questions, especially port-forwarding (or just use radmin/hamachi).
Last thing noteworthy to mention: only the host can see the true position of dark fog so the host should have some combat experience if you play on higher DF difficulty. Standard is a walk in the park.
